The First Tee of the Coachella Valley chapter exists as a program of the Desert Recreation District. The Desert Recreation District (DRD) offers programs and activities for residents of Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio, Thousand Palms, Thermal, Mecca, Coachella, Bermuda Dunes, North Shore, Oasis, Indio Hills, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and Vista Santa Rosa.
